sometimes when casually reading back, I start making changes. first missing words and misspellings. perhaps also the strange slips that tend to say exactly the opposite of the intended. then, if I’m really looking to avoid the blank page, stylistic “improvements.” it can be easier to nitpick things of the past than to start fresh in the present.
