sunshine and short sleeves

One of our best pieces of luck was arriving in Central Europe for an early, near summery, spring. Perhaps not as lucky was spending most of our time in Vienna over Easter weekend when lots of retail businesses are closed (there was still food and coffee to be found).

While at the MuseumsQuartier to see the Maria Lassnig show at MUMOK, we chanced upon a seemingly misguided protest of an exhibit at Kunsthalle. Our host noted that this group appeared to be practicing “fair-weather activism” and might not have been so well-organized had spring not arrived prematurely.
