the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design

The Victoria and Albert Museum was highly recommended and did not disappoint. Though I kept getting lost trying to follow the map (figuring I only had enough time to see a few exhibits), each time I stumbled into an area I wouldn’t have chosen to visit but loved — including the Cast Courts, specifically the plaster casts of the Trajan Column.

I skipped the actual Cold War Modern show since there was so much else to see — though I did briefly browse through the show’s gift shop.

Apparently Dale Chihuly’s Rotunda Chandelier is a pain to clean.
