it must be strange to live in such a place

most of the time I was in the UK, the weather was pretty crappy, but it was clear and warmer the Saturday I went into London as well as the Friday evening before. I wandered around Cambridge taking photos as everyone went about their weekend prologues. Small crowds hovered in galleries, students chatted relieved yet tired around the college entrances (it was exam time while I was there), and plenty of folks headed home with orange bags from the local grocer, Sainsbury’s. By eight or nine, everything had died down, though later on I saw some overdressed people queuing up outside an incredibly loud, cheesy-looking bar.
