you’ve probably seen some similar shots elsewhere of seattle’s central branch. I visited in the fall of 2006, and going to the library was the only time all weekend that I took pictures on film.
the construction of this branch and many smaller ones were funded by the voter-approved “Libraries for All” bond measure almost ten years ago. my friend Joseph made sure to point out some of the more interesting branches that were near our travels, like the ballard branch, which features a green roof.
