upgrading

i’m finally going to start upgrading movable type (the system that makes uncapitalized go) from 3.x to 4.x — there are a lot of big changes in these two systems, especially in templates. so there’s a possibility of things not working right. since my site is static, it shouldn’t be too bad unless i erroneously rebuild pages. but i seem to do that everytime i make this sort of update.
