study in reflections
store for lease on mlk (canon ae-1)

i took a bunch of photos playing around with reflections in windows the last couple weeks of my class. this was the only one that i printed. for some reason i felt disappointed that it just looked like a double exposure — that might have just been the burn out. i wish i'd spent the last part of the class working towards some sort of project, like having a tight series of photos or a comprehensive portfolio of work. those weren't goals that i had going into the class, so it's not too surprising that i was happy just accomplishing what i'd planned to learn (the technical processes of photography). at least i know what goals to shoot for if i take another class in the future.

people who are able to contribute money and live in the us should also get some incentive from the stinginess of the us government. it seems the peer pressure finally helped, despite what the ayn rand institute says.
