i'm taking a photo class at PNCA this fall, after qualifying for years that while i take a lot of photos, i've never really learned how it's done, really. the first assignment was an experiment in exposure bracketing, and last night was the class on processing film. feeling dangerous prying open the film canister (even in total darkness), i felt like something was bound to go wrong, but the negatives seem to have come out pretty well. the photos look rather good, though perhaps i'll look at them differently after several weeks of learning more about it all.
we won't get into printing photos until next week, but i scanned a bunch of the negatives to get an idea how they look, so you'll have something to look at a couple of times a day for the next week.
