for the past week all the talk is about transit strike, transit strike, transit strike. and even though the trains bring us most everywhere, we kind of hope it will happen just to see what it's like. imagining the city almost frozen in place, but with people biking and car-pooling and shuttling to get around is far too intriguing. even if a lot of people, including me, will be totally unable to work if it happens. the last thing i need is more unpaid time off.
