this morning i left the house without checking the weather first, and partway down the block as i was observing neighbors putting up christmas lights i was also observing that a long-sleeved shirt and a hoodie constituted "overdressing" today. it's december 1 and i am thinking of turning back to change into lighter clothes? but i just stuffed the hoodie in my bag for most of the day. good lunch, lots of walking, seeing mulholland drive for the second time, dinner, and lots of talking, almost entirely about the movie. some other stuff in between, a pretty well-rounded day.
